Amber is a passionate and equity-focused leader with over 18 years of experience in workforce, community, and economic development. As the Founder and CEO of Third & Ten Consulting, she partners with organizations to design bold, people-centered strategies that drive sustainable economic mobility.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Amber has held influential roles including Executive Director of the Workforce Board and Project Director at the American Job Center in Greater Memphis. Her work has been featured in publications such as Memphis Voyager, Canvas Rebel, and Bold Journey for her innovative contributions to workforce development.

Amber’s leadership has earned her numerous accolades, including the S.H.E. Legend Award for Business and Corporate (2022) and the Workforce Mid-South President’s Award. She is a proud Aspen Institute Memphis Workforce Leadership Academy Fellow (2023) and a 2024 Economic Mobility Fellow with the ACCE Foundation, one of just 20 leaders selected nationally. She currently serves on the advisory board of the Women in Leadership Program at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Beyond her work, Amber serves as Vice President of the Board for Dress for Success Memphis, is an active member of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church, and is part of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., where she served as chapter journalist from 2022–2024.

Amber’s joy comes from uplifting others—especially youth and justice-involved individuals—and creating pathways to opportunity through service, strategy, and storytelling. When she’s not leading transformative work, you can find her spending time with family, traveling, DJing, enjoying sports, or exploring the culinary arts.

Amber lives in Memphis, TN with her husband of 17+ years, Asa, and their two amazing children.
